I’ve recently gotten the chance to sit down & read this book….it’s amazing!! It is full of Biblically-based wisdom & Scriptural principles that serve as guidelines by which to achieve and/or maintain financial integrity. Regardless of where you are in your financial journey, this dynamic book will definitely help you to realize your goals and, in turn, bring forth blessing. I’ve found the reminders within the pages of this book to reinforce the positive financial strides I’ve already made both personally and within my business, as well as inspire me to continue improving and glorifying the Lord through my finances. I know this sounds like more of an endorsement than a comment, but honestly, it’s fantastic!!
While I was reading chapter 4 of your book, ‘The 11 Be Attitudes of Prosperity’, I was reminded of the Spiritual Truths of Tithing and Giving into God’s Kingdom! Times have been tight for our business and Family and we had not been tithing… we wrote a check that day. Since then, God has blessed our Family financially and otherwise beyond our expectations… I’m telling everyone I know what the Lord has done! Excellent job on the book Dave, it’s full of entertaining stories and practical financial wisdom.
The 11 Be Attitudes of Prosperity is a book filled with ancient truths that work today. I am going to buy another one for my Grandson in college. It is simply written but profound in its thought. I have known David White for many years and I am so glad he took the time and effort to put in print these principles that are based on the kingdom of God. Every young person should have a copy before going to college.
To be successful on the gridiron and in your finances, you need a plan and the proper attitude. David does a fantastic job of blending faith and finances in a very entertaining and informative book.
To pitch for 20 years in the Major Leagues, I needed to have a secure grip on the baseball. Using the principles presented here has allowed me to live a life honoring God by giving me a secure grip on my life and finances. You will be blessed by reading and applying the 11 Be Attitudes to your life.
David White has written a marvelous book that inspires and informs us on the principles of being high performers of accumulating wealth. In a cogent, humorous and lively way, David teaches us how building wealth can help build a bigger Kingdom. This is a book we should all have on our shelves.
What a great book! I highly recommend The 11 Be Attitudes of Prosperity. I found the book to be very helpful and the material to be insightful, informative and engaging. David’s expertise and warmth are in evidence throughout the book. I would recommend this book to be used in Bible study and small group settings. This is a book that you will refer to often. A much needed book on an important topic.
Very well done, so practical, readable, and helpful. “Follow the money” is a two-way street. One way is a fast track propelled by self-interest toward a dead-end. The other way is a disciplined drive guided by the Holy Spirit toward the blessings of self-giving and for the glory of God. David White shows us God’s way in a Biblically-grounded, creatively-written, and delightfully-readable book that you will not want to miss.
David White practices what he preaches. David knows what i means to BE a man of integrity, to BE honest, to BE Biblically faithful, and to BE Christlike. The BE Attitudes that follow are authored by someone who BEhaves in a manner that is consistent with what he BElieves. This book is the BEst! Read it and BE blessed!
The Bible has much to say about money, and people have money problems, both those who are wealthy and poor. In fact, there is more about money in the Bible than about many other so-called spiritual topics. People have problems because they need to know or to heed what God says about money.
David White has written a simple but highly helpful book that offers wisdom from God’s Word to help us with the problems we have with money. Following his counsels could just be God’s timely response to the most basic life challenges that threaten the fullness of life He plans for you!
David White has written a delightful book. Drawing on his experience as a financial planner, a CPA and a tax attorney, David weaves together these areas of expertise with his profound understanding of Christian teaching. This is not a get rich quick scheme, but much like the wisdom of Solomon found in Proverbs, David helps us understand the cause and effect reasoning that guides so many of life’s most important financial and career decisions. What we do matters. How we believe and behave matters. You will find many of his examples humorous as well as finding your own life circumstances sprinkled across the text.
Superb! This may be the most important book you read this year. David White, a nationally recognized financial professional, is uniquely qualified to talk about wealth management from a Biblical perspective. The book is a powerful collection of Biblical nuggets, facts, and humorous stories calling the church for a resurgence to live the authentic Christian life with an eternal perspective.
In early 2012, I was first introduced to you, your business, and your book The 11 Be Attitudes of Prosperity. At that point in my personal life, I was in a very dark place. My wife and I had gotten divorced, my Dad had been diagnosed with cancer, my relationship with Christ had diminished, and my business career was struggling. Having grown up with a strong religious background, I was very intrigued with your book after our first meeting together at the Top Producer conference. As I began to read it, there were so many simple truths that began to resonate with me. In one chapter after another, I discovered so many different biblical views about money that I really had forgotten or never really understood. One in particular was the matter of tithes. In the past, I had given here and there, but nothing consistent and nothing near 10% of my income. After reading your book, I set up a separate savings account, and each time I got paid I set aside money for charity before I paid any other bill. Soon after I did this, my life started to change for the better. I reunited with my ex-
